About the Author
R. Keith Stuart has worked to understand the tragedy of race, exclusion, power, and indifference in the faith community. His first book, Letting Go of True Belief, recounts his relationship with a young man dying of AIDS who transforms the church he served.
His second book, What Silence Will Not Bury, is a raw, generational look at the cycles of pain and the enduring power of hope. It is a portrait of a multiple families grappling with their past to claim their future. Tracing the invisible scars left by those who came before us, this story explores how grief can be inherited—but so can resilience. It is a story for anyone who has ever searched for beauty in the wreckage and a reminder that some truths are simply too loud to stay buried.Â
He makes his home in Westlake, Ohio.
